Return Policy

At Anne Closet, we want you to be delighted with your pre-loved treasures. We understand that sometimes an item might not be quite right, even with our thorough descriptions. Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Timeframe: You have 7 calendar days from the date you receive your item(s) to initiate a return.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  • Condition: All returned items must be in the exact same condition as they were at the time of purchase.
    • No additional wear, damage, stains, or alterations.
    • Original tags, if applicable (e.g., store tags, authenticity tags, or our own shop tags), must still be attached and undisturbed.
    • All accompanying accessories (dust bags, authenticity cards, straps, etc.) must be returned with the item.

2. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Items returned after the 7-day return window.
  • Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration not present at the time of sale.
  • Items with missing tags or accessories.
  • Change of Mind: Please choose carefully! We don't offer refunds if you simply change your mind about a purchase. We encourage you to double-check your order, item description and photos before making the purchase.

3. Return Process

Initiate Return: To initiate a return, please contact us via info@annecloset.com within the return window. Please provide your order number and the reason for the return.

Return Authorization: We'll review your request and, if approved, provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to send the item back. Please don't send items back without an RA number.

Packaging: Securely package the item(s) to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Return Policy: returns/cancellations incur a $50 re-stocking fee per item and the customer is responsible for the return shipment including the postage cost and insurance.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s) and confirm they meet the eligibility criteria, we'll process your refund.

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.

Please note that original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

5. Damaged, Incorrect, or Significantly Not As Described Items

We carefully inspect all items, but if you receive an item that is damaged (beyond what was described), incorrect, or significantly not as described, please contact us immediately (within 24-48 hours of receipt).

Provide clear photos of the issue. We'll work with you to resolve the problem, which may include a full refund (including original and return shipping) or an exchange, depending on availability.

6. Exchanges

Due to the unique nature of our inventory (used items), we generally don't offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process and then place a new order for the desired item.
